Shreveport Universal Broadband Setup Guide

Thank you for signing up for the Shreveport Universal Broadband Access program, a free benefit service that is available to any Shreve Memorial Library cardholders located within the coverage zone of our city cellular network. Follow the instructions below to set up your home internet service.

How to Set Up Your Home Internet:

1. Choose a location in your home to place the wireless router. Placing the router on a window that is closest to the Library branch where you checked out this device will ensure the best quality of service.

2. Remove the wireless router and accessories from the packaging. 

3. Connect the two antennas onto the back of the wireless router.

4. Plug the Wireless Router DC Power cable into a wall outlet, then into the Wireless Router DC plug on the back of the unit.

5. Attach the wireless router to the mounting kit in the window. Please note that the mounting kit adheres strongly to the window. **It is not recommended to use this mounting kit for older windows.**

The enclosed wireless router should be pre-configured by your local library branch to provide Wi-Fi coverage in your home. If you have any questions or trouble connecting to the internet, please contact the local library branch listed on the top of the device.
